The center focuses on preparing research, studies, and scientific consultations specialized in the fields of (communications and radar systems, guidance and control, optical-electronics, information security, software, and digital technologies). The center includes in its staff primary teams of highly skilled technical operational (Engineers and Technicians) and assistant units (administrative and financial). In addition, the center works through an organizational structure represented by three departments, laboratories, and supporting offices

  • The center aims to build a research base in defense technologies capable of keeping pace with technical development, developing technologies in its specialization, and sponsoring specialized research crews
  • Carrying out studies and research to develop land, sea, and air military equipment.
  • Participation in implementing military and civil projects and contracts signed by the Ministry of Defense.
  • Participation in local and international conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
  • Development of human resources by expanding in the field of specialized training and postgraduate studies to serve the goals and interests of the government.
  • Providing technical and scientific advice to all military and civil authorities in areas that fall within the center's interests.
  • Research related to designing and developing control and navigation systems for uninhabited objects (cars, planes, and boats) and conducting the necessary calibration, tests, and experiments.
  • Study and design electronic boards and power supplies. As well as conduct research on lasers' use in military applications.
  • Research and study remote tracking systems, radar guidance systems, early warning systems, and their applications.
  • Specialized research for designing and developing various antenna types and applications.
